On August 21, 1972, a group of
fellow Christians and Baptized believers gathered at the home of Michael
Petersen, in order to carry on the work of the Lord, as He had directed by
starting a non-denominational church in Fayetteville, NC. These
people were:
Rev. Ken W. and Lillian Pritchard
Vic and Carol Imes
Robert Probst
Gene and Sharon Wells
Dale and Brenda Hall
Mrs. Pansy Pritchard
Carl and Sandra Ham
|
Norma Jean French
Carol Vincent
Ron and Carol Coleman
Mike and Becky Petersen
Roger and Diane Jackson
John and Jo Mullholland |
It was decided that the church would be named
Fayetteville Community Church and it would be dedicated on the principles that the Bible is the inspired word of God, that salvation is only through the power of Jesus Christ, and that a personal, everyday powerful witness for the Lord can be had through the Baptism in the Holy Spirit.
Our motto is...
"...My
God shall supply all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ
Jesus"
Philippians
4:19
